Our components span across automotive parts, motorcycle components, industrial parts, furniture components, household appliances, and others.
Die casting is a process that involves melting metal, whether it’s aluminum, magnesium, zinc, or copper, into a liquid form through heat. This molten metal is then injected into a mold at high pressure, known as High Pressure Die Casting. Following this, the piece needs time to solidify before the mold is opened, and the product is removed
The process of die casting can be categorized into two primary types: hot-chamber casting and cold-chamber casting. These two methods are very similar, but cold-chamber casting offers an advantage in terms of the types of metals it can handle. It is capable of working with metals with varying melting points, unlike hot-chamber casting, which is suitable only for metals with lower melting points.
Zinc die casting is a popular method used in many countries due to the characteristics of zinc, which have lower melting temperatures compared to aluminum. This property facilitates easier molding of highly complex parts and minimizes issues during the injection process. Additionally, zinc die casting can result in longer die life compared to other types.

FAQ
What types of zinc die casting do we offer?
WD provides diverse zinc injection molding services, catering to various types of components such as automotive parts, bicycle components, furniture pieces, industrial parts, and numerous other metal parts. However, an assessment of the parts is necessary before beginning the process. This analysis is carried out by scrutinizing the details provided in drawings or CAD files. Alternatively, if the client only possesses a physical sample, they can also send it for an initial evaluation.
If there is an existing mold, is it possible to use it for production?
If the customer already has a mold, we are happy to offer injection services. Customers can send us the details of the component for an initial evaluation, including information such as the material of the part, its weight, and the quantity required. However, if the customer needs a new mold, we are also happy to provide consultation at every stage of the process.
How long does it take to provide a quote?
After receiving all the necessary details about the component, we will evaluate the weight of the part, the materials used, complexity, and the required quantity to provide a quote to the customer. This process generally takes approximately 5-7 business days.
Is there a minimum quantity for production?
Mass production helps control manufacturing costs at a lower point. However, if a customer requires a smaller production quantity, we can accommodate that. The minimum order quantity that we can accept for injection molding ranges from 1,000 to 2,000 pieces.
